Grand Referral Contest Rules
Creating a referral link and entering the contest are free. No €1 payment or purchase is required to become a referrer or compete.
1. Organizer
The organizer is the operator identified in the Legal Notice. Questions can be sent through the contact address shown there.
2. Contest period
The Grand Referral Contest begins on 1 August 2026 at 00:00 UTC and ends on 31 December 2026 at 23:59:59 UTC. Only valid completed €1 participations credited to a referral link during this period count toward the Grand Referral Contest.
3. Eligibility
Entrants must be at least 18 years old, able to lawfully participate and receive a cash payment, and must not be located where the contest is prohibited. The organizer, people acting on behalf of the organizer, and members of their immediate household cannot win a Grand Referral Contest prize.
4. How to enter
Create a free referral link, open the private dashboard, choose an available public name, accept these rules, and make the profile visible on the leaderboard. No email, account purchase, entry fee, or own €1 participation is required.
5. Public names
Public names must be between 3 and 24 characters and may contain letters, numbers, spaces, underscores, and hyphens. Offensive, racist, hateful, sexually explicit, extremist, deceptive, impersonating, or otherwise unsuitable names are unavailable. Automated multilingual screening and manual moderation are used. A profile can be hidden or blocked without exposing the private referral code or identity.
6. Valid participations
A participation counts only after the payment provider confirms a completed payment of exactly €1 in EUR and the event is attributed to the entrant's referral link. Refunds, reversals, disputes, duplicate events, invalid amounts, self referrals, coordinated abuse, automated activity, fraud, or other misuse do not count and may be marked void at any time before finalization.
7. Ranking
Entrants are ranked by the number of valid participations during the contest period. More valid participations rank higher. If two entrants have the same final count, the entrant whose final qualifying participation occurred earlier ranks higher. If that timestamp is also identical, the public names are ordered alphabetically. Live standings are provisional and may include pending credits.
8. Standard referral earnings
Each valid participation separately creates €0.50 in pending standard referral credit under the referral program. Those standard credits are not replaced by the Grand Referral Contest prizes. Standard credits remain pending for 30 days and are subject to review.
9. Grand prizes
- First place: 5% of Eligible Net Project Profit.
- Second place: 3% of Eligible Net Project Profit.
- Third place: 2% of Eligible Net Project Profit.
The three prizes together equal 10% of Eligible Net Project Profit. There is no guaranteed minimum prize. If Eligible Net Project Profit is zero, each prize is zero. As a nonbinding example, Eligible Net Project Profit of €100,000 would produce prizes of €5,000, €3,000, and €2,000.
10. Eligible Net Project Profit
Eligible Net Project Profit means the nonnegative amount of settled project revenue from valid €1 payments completed during the contest period, after subtracting refunds, reversals, chargebacks, payment provider and currency fees, standard referral commissions, directly attributable paid promotion and third party operating costs, and mandatory transaction taxes or levies. The Grand Referral Contest prizes themselves and the operator's unpaid labor are not deducted when calculating this base. The calculation is made from the final accounting records and cannot be less than zero.
11. Review and finalization
The final ranking is determined after the contest closes, the 30 day pending period passes, abuse and payment reviews are completed, and the Eligible Net Project Profit calculation is finished. The organizer intends to publish the final ranking and prize amounts no later than 31 March 2027. A delay caused by unresolved provider disputes, legal requirements, or force majeure will be disclosed.
12. Winner verification and payment
Potential winners must provide the information reasonably required to verify age, eligibility, identity, tax status, and a lawful payout method. This information is requested privately only after provisional winner selection. Failure to complete verification within 30 days, use of false information, or ineligibility can result in disqualification and advancement of the next eligible entrant. Payment is intended within 30 days after successful verification.
13. Disclosure when sharing
Every entrant must clearly disclose that they may receive €0.50 when someone completes the experiment through their link. Entrants must also comply with the rules of every platform and with applicable advertising, endorsement, privacy, and electronic communication laws.
14. Prohibited conduct
Entrants may not make false charitable claims, promise a product or reward from the €1 payment, conceal compensation, impersonate another person or organization, send unlawful unsolicited messages, purchase or manufacture fake activity, interfere with the service, or use the contest to promote illegal or harmful content.
15. Enforcement
The organizer may hide a public name, void invalid activity, pause new referrals for security reasons, request evidence, or disqualify an entrant for a material rule violation. Decisions must be based on documented payment, fraud, moderation, or eligibility evidence. Validly earned prizes will not be withheld arbitrarily.
16. Taxes
Winners are responsible for their own taxes, declarations, and other obligations arising from standard referral earnings or a Grand Referral Contest prize. The organizer may withhold or report amounts where legally required.
17. Privacy
The public leaderboard displays only the chosen public name and aggregate results. Referral codes, dashboard tokens, payment details, contact information, and legal identities are not published. Further details are in the Privacy information.
18. Availability and governing law
The contest is void where prohibited. German law applies without removing mandatory consumer protections that apply in an entrant's country of residence. Technical maintenance may temporarily delay the displayed standings without changing valid server-side payment records.
19. Material changes
These rules will not be changed retroactively to reduce an already advertised prize percentage or remove valid activity. A change required by law, security, or an obvious error will be published with its effective date and will preserve entrants' legitimate expectations as far as legally possible.
